PALMERSTON ROAD CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TO BE A 'MAD' AFFAIR!
The cast of the New Theatre Royal's Christmas production of Alice In Wonderland will be on hand to throw the switch and illuminate Southsea for the festive season when a grand display of fireworks will mark the official start of Christmas on Thursday 12th November in Palmerston Road shopping precinct. Stars from Lewis Carroll's classic tale, including the Mad Hatter, March Hare and Alice herself will join in the celebration, which starts at 4.00pm, with the lights going on around 6.00pm.

SANTA'S FUN RUN
This December will see hundreds of Santas racing around Southsea Seafront in aid of charity. The 5km family fun run/walk will take place on Sunday 13th December at 11.00am in this annual event that will raise thousands of pounds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Having registered, each entrant will receive their very own Santa suit and unique race number to help them take part in the fun run that will take them around Southsea, along the seafront and common.
